Happy families: Kourtney Kardashian paid tribute to boyfriend Scott Disick's parenting skills at the Mercedes Benz Polo Challenge in New York this weekend
He’s not often seen in the best light on the Kardashian reality TV shows.
But Kourtney Kardashian has defended her boyfriend Scott Disick amidst rumours that he is a bad boyfriend and father to their seven-month-old son Mason.
‘He's very loving and sensitive,’ the 31-year-old insists.
‘We were laughing with his parents about that. Scott's their little baby boy,' she tells People magazine. 'Scott's obviously not a monster.’
Scott, who works as a nightclub promoter, is often seen fighting with his girlfriend's family on Keeping up With The Kardashians and its spin-off Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami.
The shows have featured him drinking, being bad tempered and over spending - he recently purchased a $200,000 Ferrari.
As a result, the couple have often been dogged by rumours that they are about to split.
But Kourtney, who gave birth to Mason in December last year, told the website that her beau is a great dad.

‘He is doing fantastic,’ she said. ‘I love watching him with Mason. He makes him crack up so hard. He makes him laugh. It's fun to see them together.’
And Scott says he has grown up since he became a dad.
‘It's a whole different world now that I have a child,’ he said. ‘And, yes, I have grown up quite a bit.’
He also paid tribute to Kourtney’s abilities as a mum.

‘It's just one more quality that I love about her now,' he said.
'I could never have imagined her to be the amazing mother that she is today. And now it's just one more reason that I love her.’
Kourtney was speaking at this weekend's Mercedes Benz Polo Challenge in New York which she attended with Scott.
She wore a black spotted maxi dress which contrasted with her boyfriend's bright pink trousers and checked blue shirt.
