Child's play: Eva Longoria bonds with some young fans at a charity event held at her friend Ken Paves' Beverly Hills hair salon
Eva Longoria and husband Tony Parker have made no secret of their plan to start a family and today the Desperate Housewives star got some parental practice at a charity event.
The 35-year-old actress played with a group of young children while chipping in for the fundraiser held at her friend Ken Paves' Beverly Hills hair salon.
She helped with chalk drawings on the pavement outside the store and gave out a few hugs to her little fans.
Sweet charity: The event raised money for Rally for Kids with Cancer
She was a hit with older guests too, trimming the hair of at least one charity participant
The event, the Makeover Madness, brought out other celebrities, including Ashlee Simpson, all who wanted to raise money for Rally for Kids with Cancer.
Eva might soon be putting her maternal instincts to use with a baby of her own.
Time for a career change? Eva tried her hand as as hairdresser
When asked recently whether the couple are ready for a child, basketball player Parker, 28, replied: 'We’re thinking about it. She’s got one more year with Desperate Housewives, so we’ll see what happens.
'She’d be a great mom. I’d be great. I love kids.'
He says Eva, who is one of four girls, will decide on how many children they have.
'It depends on her,' he said. 'I don’t care if it’s a boy or a girl. I would love to have both.
