New love? Jennifer Love Hewitt could hardly control her grin as she shopped in Beverly Hills last week


She's been unlucky in love, but Jennifer Love Hewitt has found a reason to smile again.

The actress, 31 has reportedly started a new relationship with actor/ director Alex Beh, 27.

'She's so into him. It's relatively new,' a source told Us Weekly magazine.

'But they're really cute together. They were holding hands the whole night!'

And it seems the new relationship is making Jennifer happy. On a shopping trip this week, she couldn't stop smiling.

After buying herself a new pair of boots and some tops at upmarket Beverly Hills boutique, Theodore, she headed for a luxurious lunch at celeb hotspot, Boa Steakhouse.

Dressed casually in classic blue jeans and a khaki jacket with a big scarf and heels to finish the look, Jennifer looked slim and chic.

Having recently updated her look with a blunt-cut fringe, she seemed in great spirits.

However, her new beau's MySpace page still has his relationship status set to 'single'.

Jennifer split from her Ghost Whisperer co-star Jamie Kennedy in March after a year-long relationship.

In April, after the split, it was reported she was dating Jenny McCarthy's ex-husband actor/director John Asher.

For a while it had looked like Jennifer and Jamie's romance would last.

When Jamie first publicly admitted dating the actress, he described her during a radio interview, with the words: 'You are hot. You can sing, you can dance, you're like, so smart and, wow, you can cook pasta fagioli, too.'

For her part, it looked like Jennifer was crazy about Jamie too.

She told TV host Ellen DeGeneres last year: 'There are people in your life who are just supportive and who just look at you and they see who you are.

'And [Jamie] really saw who I was as a person more than anybody had ever done in my whole life. I think that's for me when I sort of went, "Oh, wow."'

Could Alex be a rebound? Maybe Jennifer will be lucky in love this time around.
