Perfect legs: Emma Roberts shows off her slender figure in a pair of thigh-high socks as she goes shopping on Sunset Boulevard

If there were any doubt Emma Roberts is her Aunty Julia's niece then surely these pictures would dispel it.

The actress showed off her long slender legs in a pair of skinny black socks as she stepped out in Los Angeles today.

They brought back memories of Julia's black PVC boots, which caused such a sensation in the 1990's film Pretty Woman.

Unlike Julia, who was playing a prostitute in the film, Emma wore her socks with a demure black sweater and pair of denim shorts.

She also added a fashionable pair of 70s-inspired platforms.

The 20-year-old may have put her look together with the help of a friend.

Earlier this week her friend Zelda Williams tweeted: 'Lovely lunch and vintage shopping day with @RobertsEmma.

Pretty Woman: Emma looked just like her aunty Julia in her thigh-high socks

'May or may not have made her try on a head-to-toe 80's Pretty Woman ensemble.'

Emma, the daughter of Julia's brother Eric, also has a hand putting her outfits together from stylist duo Emily Current and Meritt Elliott.

The actress can next be seen in Scream 4, along with Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox Arquette and David Arquette.

Sensation: Emma's aunt Julia shows off the family legs in the 1990 film Pretty Woman, alongside Richard Gere
