The Up In The Air actor was spotted cruising around Lake Como with his current girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis and his ex Karen Duffy.
While it sounds like the makings of a stormy ride, there was nothing calm waters for the trio, who were joined by a larger group of friends.
Duffy, a former model, dated Clooney many years back and she married John Lambros in 1997.
But the exes have maintained a strong friendship over the years and Duffy has even given his new Italian love her seal of approval.
'The woman he's with now is incredible - she's funny, smart, has lovely manners,' she recently told America's People magazine.

Canalis started dating Clooney, who owns a villa in Italy, last July after meeting him in Rome.
And she is set to become an international television star in her own right after landing a role as a spy in U.S. TV show Leverage.
Clooney, who has previously dated actress Renee Zellweger and TV presenter Lisa Snowdon, says he has no plans to marry again.
He was married once before to actress Talia Balsam for four years.
