Sometimes she is on mummy duty, watching her son play football.

And sometimes she is a movie star, tottering down the red carpet in a glamorous dress.

As she shows in these pictures, Kate Winslet now has the perfect man for each occasion.

The 34-year-old Oscar winner was in dazzling form as she and her new boyfriend, British model Louis Dowler, 35, arrived at an exhibition in Spain on Monday night.

Just 24 hours earlier, she had been sitting on the sidelines at a New York park, accompanied by estranged husband Sam Mendes, cheering on their son Joe and his football team.

For her day out with 45-year-old movie director Mendes, she wore a tracksuit and trainers and no make-up.

The next evening, with Dowler holding her hand, it was a slinky oneshouldered mini dress and towering Christian Louboutin heels.

She chose the exhibition in Madrid for her first official appearance with her new boyfriend.

Dowler, who has modelled for Paco Rabanne and Paul Smith, has been virtually inseparable from Miss Winslet for two months.

They were introduced at a party by a mutual friend.

Miss Winslet is said to have asked him to move to Chicago while she shoots her latest film, Contagion, alongside Gwyneth Paltrow, Jude Law and Matt Damon.

She plans to juggle the care of Joe, six, and Mia, nine, with Mendes, who remains in New York after the break-up of their seven-year marriage six months ago.

'Kate hates the idea of having a longdistance relationship, even for a short period of time.

They are absolutely smitten,' a source close to the actress said recently.

'They have discussed the idea of Louis going with her while she films so they won't have to endure a long-distance relationship at such an early stage in what seems to be something pretty serious.

Kate hasn't been this happy in a very long time.'
