Halle Berry got some important mother and daughter bonding time in yesterday in West Hollywood.

The 44-year-old actress took her daughter, Nahla for a shopping trip, stopping by trendy CB2 furniture store.

Halle propped the cute two-year-old on the counter as she paid for her purchases.

It was obvious how close the two are as little Nahla played lovingly with her mother's face and Halle looked on adoringly.

Halle looked gorgeous in a long, fitted grey T-shirt dress and flip flops, whilst Nahla was picture perfect in a little multi-coloured dress and white sandals.

Berry topped her look off stylishly with some long strings of beads and trendy, dark sunglasses.

The actress has been linked romantically to her co-star Oliver Martinez after pictures surfaced of the two of them holding hands and kissing, off set, in Paris.

Halle split from Nahla's father, Canadian model Gabriel Aubry earlier in the year, but the two have maintained a close relationship for the sake of their daughter.

Halle and Gabriel share custody of Nahla and Gabriel recently travelled to South Africa with Halle so that he could look after their daughter during the time Halle was working

The couple dated for five years after meeting on a photo shoot in 2005, but never married.

Berry has been married twice before, to baseball player David Justice and musician Eric Benet.

Both marriages ended badly, among accusations of infidelity, made on Berry's behalf, and the actress has since sworn she will never marry again.

It was recently announced that Berry will next be working on Cloud Atlas, also starring Tom Hanks and Natalie Portman.

The movie, based on the 2004 novel by David Mitchell, encompasses six different stories that are all linked together.
