Fun ride: Hugh Jackman throws his son Oscar into a fireman's lift while out at a New York park on Saturday
Hugh Jackman enjoyed a fun-filled family date out in Manhattan Beach on Saturday.
The Wolverine actor showed his super strength by throwing his 10-year-old son Oscar over his shoulder for a fireman's lift.
They were joined by his wife Deborra-Lee Furness, 41, and five-year-old daughter Ava for a trip to a New York restaurant.

After lunch they headed to a nearby playground for more fun and games.
Hugh, 41, recently protested about the unhealthy lunches that are given to school children.
He wrote a letter to Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives saying: 'As a parent, I am extremely concerned about the sky-rocketing rates of obesity, diabetes and other serious health problems we're seeing in children today.

Hugh's kids are frequently seen keeping fit walking around New York City but split their time between native Sydney and the Big Apple.
Hugh and Deborra are very hands on parents and are rarely seen with nannies. The couple met on the set of an Australian television show they both starred in and have been married for 14 years.
Hugh's new film Real Steel caused chaos over the weekend when a helicopter got tangled in an overhead power line on the set in Michigan.

Hygiene: The Hollywood heartthrob flossed his teeth as he enjoyed the warm autumn sunshine
No one was hurt but a road had to be closed down and the accident cut off power to a whole town for several hours.
Set in the future, Hugh plays boxer Charlie Kenton in the film who becomes a promoter when the sport is outlawed for being too violent.
Kenton finds a discarded robot, who appears human, that is a natural for the sport.
