Peter Andre washes his hands of Katie Price again as he removes name tattoo from finger

Following their split just over a year ago, Katie Price had a big X tattooed over her wrist etching of Peter Andre's name.

But for the Australian singer, it seems nothing short of laser surgery removal would do to get rid of his 'Katie' body art on his wedding ring finger.

The 37-year-old has had a series of treatments to erase the marking and today at a book signing in London it was barely visible.

Andre was at a London Waterstones store today promoting his new book My World in Pictures and Words.

The father of two signed copies of the autobiography for teams of fans who turned out to meet him.

It is packed with almost 200 mostly unseen photographs and charts his rise from aspiring singer to celebrity popstar.


On form: Peter was in good spirits and dressed in jeans, boots and white shirt


Fans will also be able to read about his life as a single parent since his split from Katie last year.

Peter said of the book: 'It is wonderful that I have been given this opportunity to show my life in pictures and I am very excited about working with [publishers] Penguin on this project.

'There are some amazing personal pictures that I hope will make the reader smile as much as they have me.

'It's always so much fun meeting my fans at book signings, and I look forward to this opportunity.'

A spokesman for Peter confirmed: 'He is having laser surgery and his tattoo is fading each time. Pete had a lovely day and lots of fans turned up to see him at his book signing.'

Katie had a huge cross etched over her 'Pete' wrist tattoo while on holiday in Ibiza a month after the break-up.

The marking was surrounded by hearts a crown and the name 'Princess', after their one-year-old daughter.
