To watch Gossip Girl you'd think young women always walk around in heels, their hair and make-up perfect.

But as French actress Clémence Poésy knows, a pair of old biker boots is a lot comfier than punishingly high slingbacks.

The Gossip Girl star slipped out of her heels in between takes today, swapping them for her own boots.

Sitting on a bench in central Park, she enjoyed the sunshine as she waited to film.
Poesy, 27, guest stars on the fourth season of the show as a mysterious woman in Chuck Bass's life.

Chuck, played by Ed Westwick, was dumped by girlfriend Blair Waldorf last season.

But he seems to have moved on, walking hand in hand with Poésy's character in Central Park, and giving her a leather red box as a gift.

How many episodes Poésy will appear in and even her character's name are being kept under wraps.

She is best known for her role as Fleur Delacour in the Harry Potter films.
