With a new home and a new husband, Katie Price looks to be putting her relationship with Peter Andre firmly behind her, finally putting their marital home on the market.

She and Peter bought the Surrey mansion in 2008 for £2.5 million, and Katie, after recently purchasing a £2 million Sussex property, looks ready to let it go.

Viewers of her numerous reality shows will recognise the sprawling 10,000 square foot estate, which boasts eight bedrooms and seven bathrooms.

In stark contrast to the mess of children's toys and strewn clothes that we saw on TV, the home has been tastefully decorated and presents immaculately in the real estate photographs.

The formal entrance to the home, which was styled by interior designer Dawn Ward, includes a marble foyer with a grand staircase and the enormous kitchen has a chef's oven and mirrored fridge.

There is a cinema room decorated in dark plum tones and a formal dining room, which Katie and Peter used as a play room for children Harvey, eight, Junior, five, and Princess, three. There is also an indoor swimming pool with mosaic tiles.

Katie, 32, announced she had plans to sell the home in March, because she believed it was haunted.

She and Alex bought the six-bedroom Sussex property, which has an equestrian range for horse-lover Katie, in late June.

They were expected to stage their lavish wedding ceremony at the new house after a marquee was seen erected on their lawn, but it turned out to be an elaborate ruse to confuse the paparazzi.

The Surrey home was instead used for the reception, which was filmed for their ITV2 show.

Despite holding the wedding in her former marital home, perhaps Katie and Alex want to make a fresh start after facing weeks of reports that their young marriage is already in trouble.

Several magazines this week have devoted stories to the couple, who are reportedly going through a rocky patch.

Closer reports that Alex was angry to discover that his Katie was still texting her ex-husband, after Peter read out a text from her on his own TV show.

The magazine quotes a source, who says, 'Alex was mortified, and really angry.'
