Sexy as ever: Alexandra Burke refused to tone down her sexy outfits for a performance at Hertfordshire's Forum in front of her mother and brother


She's famous for her energetic dance routines and sexy outfits.

But you would think Alexandra Burke might tone down her risque stage costumes for a performance in front of her mother and brother.

However, the 22-year-old did nothing of the sort last night as she donned a sexy lace leotard as she took to the stage at Hertfordshire's The Forum - the student union of The University of Herftfordshire, where her brother Michael studies.

Alexandra teamed the barely-there leotard with a pair of sexy fishnet tights and black strappy sandals for the performance at the venue's Flirt! Xmas Ball.

And it seems the former X Factor winner has no intention of toning things down for future performances, as she admitted recently she would be getting 'down and dirty' for her upcoming second album.

She said: 'It’s got to be sexy. So I’m going to get a lot fiercer and sexier. We’re just getting down and dirty with the next album.

'I’m going to take a lot more risks and it’s going to be insane.'

Alexandra also revealed she is planning a 'special duet' to ensure her second record is at least as successful as her debut album Overcome.

She said: 'I can’t say too much because my management will kill me if I let loose. But I have a special duet planned.

'I have the ideas, the collaborations in my mind, it’s all locked up in my head.'

And Alexandra's musical success has also put her at the front of the fashion industry, as it was recently claimed she is up against Rihanna for the chance to be the new face of Dolce & Gabbana.

According to the Daily Mirror, Alexandra is the favourite to market creations by the fashion house.

A source said: 'She's hot property right now. They are looking at Rihanna too but Alex has the edge.'
