Banned: Michael Buble has revealed his fiancée Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre has forbidden him from singing at their wedding next year
He might be one of the most popular singers in the world, but there's one place Michael Buble won't be performing next year.
The 35-year-old star has revealed his fiancée Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre has asked him NOT to sing at their wedding in April 2011, instead preferring the musical stylings of Argentine-Venezuelan singer Ricardo Montaner.
In an interview with Ross King on Daybreak this morning, Michael said: 'I asked my fiancée if she wanted me to sing and she said no.
'She said, "I want Ricardo Montaner". So now I’ve got Ricardo Montaner coming!'
Hollywood singer Michael also said he is starting to feel nervous about the nuptials, which fall on the same day as the wedding of Prince William and Kate MIddleton - April 29th, 2011.
He said: 'It’s only four months away and now I’m starting to get a little nervous!
'The truth is I know that for a lot of women, this is what they dream of - that day - and I know that that’s a big deal for them in their life and they want it to be perfect.
'I’m a boy, I didn’t grow up thinking about my wedding day, so for me, I just want it to be good for her.
'Really, I just want her to feel like she’s had the perfect day.'
Lopilato, 22, an actress who stars in the hit Argentinian soap opera Atraccion x 4, met Michael after one of his concerts in Buenos Aires in November 2008.
A friend revealed: 'They met at a party the record company threw for him after his show in Buenos Aires.
'The head of the label wanted to introduce Michael to Argentina's most famous actress.
'When he met her, he said it was love at first sight.'
Michael was previously engaged to long-term girlfriend, singer and actress Debbie Timuss, but the couple split up in November 2005.
He also dated The Devil Wears Prada actress Emily Blunt for more than two years, but the pair split in 2008.
