Keeping cool: Manchester United and England star Rio Ferdinand was seen relaxing at the poolside bar at his hotel in Paphos, Cyprus, yesterday He's been tweeting this week about the importance of family in the wake of Father's Day - but it appeared Rio Ferdinand was more than happy to leave them behind yesterday.
The Manchester United and England star was spotted on holiday in Paphos, Cyprus, with his footballing friend Ashley Williams, surrounded by a bevy of bikini-clad ladies at their hotel's swimming pool bar.
Father-of-three Rio, 32, was knocking back the beers as he sat while waist deep in water as the women fawned over him and his Swansea City star friend.

Sun seeker: Rio was looking fit as he searched for his sunlounger round the pool in shorts and flipflops There was no sign of his wife Rebecca, or their children Lorenz, four, Tate, two, and new baby daughter Tia, who was only born in April.
On Sunday, Rio had written on his Twitter page: 'Mooooooorning! happy fathers day to all those fathers who are there for their kids 24/7....the stay away dads work out that situation asap.'
Rio also posted up a picture of himself in the pool with a male pal on Saturday and he was seen sunning himself on his own and reading a paper on Sunday.

Peace perfect peace: Rio seemed to be enjoying some time on his own at one point as he read his paper on Father's Day Perhaps his wife and children are out in Cyprus with him, but are simply staying out of the sun - and all his holiday snaps.
Rio and Ashley also had a night out last night at the island's notorious party capital Aya Napa.
However, it appears they behaved themselves.
A friend @snipermusic who'd joined the party on their evening jaunt tweeted: 'Shout out to @rioferdy5 and @AshWills84 for buying @ArmandDeBrignac (expensive champagne) for their friends whilst they were on bottles of Water! #discipline.'

However, just because you're a world famous international footballer doesn't have to mean a lad's holiday - just look at Chelsea hero Fernando Torres.
The Spanish star was seen spending quality time with his beautiful wife and family in Ibiza yesterday.

Torres, 27, was seen holding his six-month-old beautiful baby son Leo as he waded out into the surf with his wife, childhood sweetheart Olalla, and their daughter Nora, who's almost two.
All three footballers are taking advantage of the break in the season before going back to work to get back in training in a few weeks.
Or in Rio's case, back to nappy changing first...
