Tuesday's Play- in Games Locks

Clemson -4.5 vs UAB

Every NCAA basketball analyst has been up in arms over UAB getting into this torunament. And for good reason, I can count 5 teams that are more deserving than the Blazers. However, this matchup is a good one for them. They will have the best player on the floor in Jamarr Sanders. This team goes as the 6'5''Sanders, who averaged almost 18 a game this past season, goes.
Clemson is bigger upfront, led by Horace Grant's nephew, Jerai Grant. They were playing their best basketball of the season, before blowing a late lead to UNC in the ACC semifinals. But the ACC is terrible this year and I wouldn't be surprised if Duke is the only one standing after this weekend.
It seems like everyone is picking Clemson, which is why I love UAB even more. Take the points and thank me later. I also like the under in this game at 120 o/u. Both teams are poor shooting teams and it will be a turnover fest early, as the two teams get settled in.

PICK: UAB and the under

UNC Asheville -4 vs Akansas Little-Rock

Ill be honest the only games I've seen these two teams play were their conference championship games last week. So if I touch this game it won't be more than a unit. Having said that, I like UNC-Ash to cover in this one, mainly because they are more prepared than the Trojans from Little Rock. Asheville has played 4 other teams that made the dance, including Ohio State, North Carolina and Georgetown. They have won 6 straight and are lead by guards Matt Dickey and J.P. Primm, who both averaged 15 ppg this season
Little Rock hasn't played anyone in the top 50 rpi all season, and are coming off a 7-9 regular season in the Sun Belt Conference. They are lead by their only double digit scoring threat Soloman Bozeman, who I know nothing about except he shoots better from 3 than he does from the field.

(these pictures make me want to pick Little Rock)

Pick: UNC Asheville
