NYPost – Wealthy skateboarding legend Tony Hawk dumped his third wife, Lhotse Merriam, for his best friend and business partner Matt Goodman’s wife, Cathy, sources told Page Six. Sources said Merriam found out about her action-sport-star husband’s new relationship in December after she found a plane ticket for Cathy that Hawk had booked for her to join him in San Francisco — despite his being lifelong friends with Matt Goodman. Hawk married Merriam, his former publicist, in 2006, two years after divorcing his second wife, Erin, his former nanny. Cathy was married to Goodman for nearly 20 years, and they have two kids. Sources said Goodman and Cathy have now separated. Hawk and Goodman had been friends since childhood. Sources told us Goodman stood as a groomsman at every one of Hawk’s three weddings.
Tony is taking a lot of heat for cheating on his 3rd wife with his best friend and business partner's wife. First off, Tony Hawk still skateboards, making him 50 times more likey to be gay, so kudos to him for not becoming another statistic.
That being said, grown men that skateboard are the biggest losers in life. I don't care how much money he has or that he is the greatest of all time. Skateboarding should be reserved for young kids who hate their parents.
And the only thing worse than being a skateboarder, is being a best friend's wife fucker...kill yourself.
