Family day out: Billie Piper and husband Laurence Fox take their son Winston to Disneyland California for the day
On-screen she plays saucy call-girl Belle de Jour.
But Billie Piper was back in her preferred role as a doting mother this weekend as she and her husband took their young son to Disneyland.
The 28-year-old actress looked pretty in a white lace dress with black detailing as she and Laurence Fox made their way around the theme park in California with two-year-old Winston.
Look at that! Billie pushes along the buggy as Laurence draws Winston's attentions to the sights and sounds of Disney
And little Winston looked like he was having a whale of a time as he was treated to various Disney goodies including a yellow Mickey Mouse balloon.
Billie and Laurence were spotted leaving London for LA last week, and have been enjoying their time in the city ever since.
Former pop star Billie recently revealed she has her hands full with Winston, and isn't planning on having any more children at this stage in her life.
She explained last month: 'I kind of think maybe we need one-on-one time at the moment.
I want this one! Winston looks delighted with his yellow Mickey Mouse balloon
'I can’t imagine having Winston go through this stage and then (having) another one (child). That just seems really stressful. I think we may just go for one. An only child… that’s all right.'
While it's not clear why the family are in LA, for work or pleasure, it could be an opportunity for Billie to meet with movie executives over plans to produce a Secret Diary Of A Call Girl movie.
Billie revealed last year that following the success of the ITV2 show, which has been running on the channel for the past four seasons, there are plans to develop a film based on the hit programme.
She said: 'I'm not sure it has legs past four seasons so we're trying to develop a movie.'
Summer style: Billie looked pretty in a black and white dress
success Stateside, she is not sure about permanently relocating to LA.
She said: 'I keep thinking about it, but then I like England.
'To be out there with a baby and to do seven, eight auditions a day is just not massively appealing at the moment.'
Billie also revealed that she hopes to take on something 'radically different' now that she has filmed the final series of the ITV2 show.
She said: 'I just want to do something radically different and I don't know what that is yet.
I think I've just chosen things that have interested me and then kept trying new and different things.
'It has worked out well and I can thank Doctor Who for all of that really. It was wholly responsible for giving me a great opportunity.'
