Awards show season is my favorite - I love seeing what everyone will choose to wear and who will win.  I thought that Anne Hathaway and James Franco's opening skit where there were in all of the movies was great, but other than that....Eh.  And I hate to this say this, because James Franco is one of my "5 Free Passes" and I think he is so sexy, but I felt like he barely did anything and Anne was the host of last night?? 

But who cares really - all that matters is the FASHION.

I think she is gorgeous - simple but stunning dress. This was the only part of the Oscars that got a certain boys attention....

Anne Hathaway

Anne had about 8 costume changes...I did not like her red carpet choice. at. all. Nor did I like half of what she wore during the show. Did Brad do this or did Rachel Zoe?

I loved her Lanvin suit, and those sparkly Brian Atwood shoes are the cutest things I've ever seen.

Yes, the pony tail was huge, but so pretty as usual. She looked so happy during the pre-show, and her ring looked HUGE. Looked a lot like Julia Roberts dress a few years ago?

Celine Dion

You gave birth to twins how long ago? And you are how old? Unreal.

Gwyneth Paltrow in Calvin Klein

She looks gorgeous every time. Love love love this.

Side notes:

• Scarlett Johansenn looked like she had just had sex backstage when she walked out to present - talk about bed head. 
• Was Javier Bardem high when he was presenting?? he was giggling and his eyes were TEENY TINY.
• When I heard Christian Bale speaking with a British accent - I bet my life that he was American... and then someone Googled... and I was wrong. The only thing I'm good for at a party is celebrity gossip. Low Point. 
•  I watch E!'s pre-show coverage for all awards show... Guiliana Rancic has my dream job and I love her... but she looked CRAZY bobble head last night.  Huge bun hair, boobs shoved up, hot mess all over. And not a fan of the Christian Siriano gown.
