Local celebrity and Peepshow star Holly Madison recently took out a $1 million insurance policy on her breasts with Lloyd’s of London insurance company, according to People.com. Madison isn’t the first celebrity to have her fake assets insured. Country singer Dolly Parton took out a $600,000 policy in the 1970s that is worth more than $3 million in today’s money. Whether Madison’s policy purchase was a publicity stunt or necessity protection of her personal inventory, her celebrity power jumped a few points when the news buzzed around the world last week. Here’s a look at other celebrities with Las Vegas ties who have purchased body-part insurance:

Sara Leal Parties Like a Rock Star; Promotes Herself As 'Ready For Sex'
Sara Leal is probably wishing she never slept with Ashton Kutcher...or at least kept her mouth shut about it. Ever since news broke that Leal bagged herself a (married) A-list celeb, her life has been a living hell as the photos that she so proudly posed for are coming back to haunt her.
Sara Leal, a 23-year-old stunner, led a wild lifestyle of partying like a "playboy bunny" in Las Vegas and California among other places. Though she is originally from Texas it appears she was probably more well-known in Sin City for her wild partying and scandalous nights.
According to the Daily Mail, Sara is promoting herself as "ready for sex" by posing topless and wearing a short dress with the words "night access" across the crotch area. It's pretty easy to figure out what those words mean and any man in the club where Sara and her friends were partying knew that he could take her home if he wanted -- including Ashton Kutcher.
While the party lifestyle may be a fun one, with free booze, entry into clubs and hot guys, Sara Leal seems to pay the price by being promiscuous and now labeled as a homewrecker. Were all the wild nights of debauchery really worth what she is going through now?

Sherri Shepherd Blasts Barbara Walters over N-Word Use on The View
Whoopi Goldberg used the word first on Monday's broadcast while quoting presidential candidate Herman Cain. Walters repeated it in context of their conversation, though she told her co-hosts, "It's very hard for me to say. … The fact that I just said it now gives me chills."
The co-hosts were discussing the name of a hunting camp used by Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry. But when Walters said the word, she drew a sharp rebuke from Shepherd.
"I didn't like the way you said it," Shepherd told her co-host. "I don't know if it's a semantics thing, but it's something that goes through my body."
Shepherd has said publicly that she's been the victim of racially-motivated bullying.
"When I heard you say it, it was fine," Shepherd told Goldberg. "You said it a different way."
ABC repeatedly bleeped the word during the women's discussion.
Walters asked Shepherd point-blank if her objection was because Walters was white.
"Yeah, it's something about hearing you say it," Shepherd said. "I don't like it when you use the word. … When you say it, it's a different connotation."

Portia de Rossi & Ellen DeGeneres Have the Craziest Hobby
Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres are one of Hollywood's favorite couples. Gorgeous, funny, and seemingly grounded, they paint a pretty great picture of a happy home life. And who wouldn't be happy with the array of insanely amazing homes they've lived in over the years.
It seems the couple collects and trades real estate like some do baseball cards. They grace the cover of Architectural Digest this month, and DeGeneres told that magazine that she has actually lost count of how many homes she has owned. Though she does know it's more than seven, because she's bought a new one each year she's been married to de Rossi. Awww, what a way to mark the years and keep things interesting.
In the magazine, due to hit stands October 11, they offer readers a peek inside of at least one of their homes -- a little Beverly Hills shack they've since put on the market for a mere $49 million. Nice timing there, for sure. In case you're in the market, the official listing describes the palatial pad as:
The compound includes a 9,200 square foot main house, two guesthouses totaling about 15,000 square feet, a three bedroom house, and every conceivable amenity and state-of the-art security.
Sounds dreamy ... and only in my dreams would I ever even get close to such a place. But it's sure fun to look, and the pictures are stunning. DeGeneres says it was her father's unrealized dreams that inspired her love of real estate. She told the magazine:
We never had a house when I was growing up. We always rented. But my father would dream, and we used to look at houses all the time. The first thing I did when I made money was buy a house.
And she's kept buying ever since. Good for her; good for them. I can't wait to see them continue to add to their collection for many, many more happy years together.
Are you surprised to learn that Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have owned so many homes?
