Super-skinny Nadine Coyle is all smiles despite music flop as she reveals plans to try and make it in America

All smiles: Nadine Coyle appeared to be in good spirits as she left the Ivy Club in London last night

Her debut solo album Insatiable might have flopped, but Nadine Coyle is determined not to give in to failure.

The 25-year-old singer was all smiles as she stepped out at London's Ivy Club last night looking slimmer than ever in a checked miniskirt and top which only highlighted her tiny figure.

And now it's been claimed Nadine is planning to try and achieve solo success in America.

The former Girls Aloud star, who is engaged to American football player Jason Bell, is said to be keen to make a name for herself in the US, where she currently lives with Bell.

A friend of the Coyle family told Now magazine: 'Nadine's refusing to give up on her dream. She reckons she'll have more chance in the States, where talent and singing ability count.

'Her life's in America now and she'd happily never return to the UK after such a hostile reception.'

But, after her pop/rock sound failed to impress fans, Nadine is now thinking about changing tack completely and trying to make it big as a country singer - saying she even wants to be as big as Taylor Swift.

However, Nadine is also hoping the second single from Insatiable, entitled Put Your Hands Up and due for release early next year, will have a better reception from fans.

Nadine made the controversial decision of selling her album exclusively through Tesco supermarkets, which could be one of the reasons it achieved such disappointing sales.

But a spokesperson for the supermarket chain said they are still holding out hope that sales will pick up.

A statement read: 'We’re obviously disappointed that Nadine’s album hasn’t got off to the start we all hoped for but it’s a great record from a brilliant artist and once we start getting some proper airplay I think a lot more people will discover this for themselves.

'Tesco is used to facing tough competition and we’ll be getting right behind Nadine’s second single in the new year.'
