Look out world! Angelina Jolie is looking for a country for Christmas

When it comes to choosing where to spend Christmas, even the most well-travelled people can find themselves with a dilemma - and this year, that's certainly the case for Angelina Jolie.

The 35-year-old actress admitted on CNN that she and Brad Pitt are currently 'looking for a country for Christmas' - and have not yet decided where they and their six children will end up spending the festive season.

'This is our one year abroad,' Angelina said in an interview with Larry King. 'We do one year at home, one year abroad.

'We've done Missouri with Brad's family. We have our map books out and we're looking for a country to go to.

'We haven't picked one yet but we want to travel abroad.'

Angelina also revealed to the talk show host that she and Brad do not intend to add to their brood any time soon.

The couple are parents to adopted children Pax, eight, Maddox, seven, and five-year-old Zahara, as well as their own children Shiloh, four, and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.

'We've no plans at the moment,' the actress said. 'But we're always open to the idea.'

And she discussed how the little ones cope with attention from the paparazzi.

'We just have to smile and say it's not scary, they just like to take pictures,' she said. 'As a parent you have to make out that it's a not a threat and keep smiling so they don't feel anything negative.'

Angelina has been in New York to celebrate the release of her latest film The Tourist - which also stars Johnny Depp - which had its world premiere at the city's Ziegfield Theatre on Tuesday night.

In the film Angelina plays Elise, a mysterious woman who becomes involved with Depp's character, an American tourist visiting Italy to get over a broken heart.
The film is released in UK cinemas on Friday.

At the event Angelina, 35, discussed spending the holidays in New York, where she grew up.

'I love New York at Christmastime,' she told Entertainment Tonight.

I used to come here all the time when I was a little girl, with my mum, so I have happy memories of Rockefeller Centre and the park,'

She and Brad appeared to be feeling the festive spirit as they walked the red carpet at the premiere. The couple, who have been together for five years, could barely keep their hands off each other as they posed for photos.
